the journey

I've come to realize that life is a journey, not a destination. Many a times we want to speed through the season we are in, hoping to reach a happier, less complicated place.

"There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven." Ecc. 3:1

I love to laugh until I cry. I love excitement and anticipation. I love planning and executing life perfectly. I do not like stress. I do not like trials. I do not like pain. Yet in all things, I am learning to embrace life. As James said, "Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. So don't try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way." James 1:2-4

So this blog is my life and my best attempt to embrace the journey.
